How a nest plays

Pick a male and a female, check the odds, and breed. The nest hatches after 3 minutes; flip the nine cards, keep up to 3 fry and send the rest to the breeder pond for coins. Hidden genes can skip a generation, so plain parents can still surprise you.

Flip a fry card and watch it bloom. The Galaxy Koi Halfmoon from these parents is 1 in 64.
Before you breed, the pairing screen shows the odds for tail, color and pattern.
Daily beauty shows: three judges score fin spread, symmetry and color.
